~twilight~

last year, all of my friends tried to get me to read these books called Twilight. i tried to read the first hundred pages of the first book, but hated it! then about two weeks ago my dad read it and said "Calin you should." so i was like "Dad are you wack?" and he said "no just get past the first part." SOO then i was like "What the heck" and i read the first book but couldn't put it down! i read it in 12 hours and it is like a 500 page book or something like that. long story short they are like my life now, no joke. i read the entire series in less than 2 weeks, which is wierd for me. now i cannot wait for the next book which comes out ....3 days 6 hours 43 minutes 27 seconds from this excact second that i am writing. how do i know that? i bought this widget on my computer that tells me when BREAKING DAWN is released. and,also, i cannot wait for the movie on 12/12/08 :). so yes not only am i currently obsessed with Nick Jonas, i am even more obsessed with Twilight!!

jo bros concert!

yes,thats right. i actually went to the JONAS BROTHERS CONCERT. no seriously i did i know your jealous. well maybe your not but oh my you should be it was the most amazing concert i have ever been to! so we went with my friend jessie, and Lindsey took us despite her complaining. it was so much fun. i didnt tell lindsey that she wasnt sitting with us until we got to our level. i hand her her ticket.."ok there is your seat. ours is over there. bye!" and we run off. i was laughing so hard, but lindsey didnt think it was as funny as i did. i had an amazing time, and yes i think nick jonas is an inspiration so i might have teared just a little bit when he was playing 'A Little Bit Longer' on the piano:). it is a song he wrote about his struggle with his type 1 diabeties. -i am going to marry nick-when it was done, lindsey wouldn't let me buy a shirt. so i got on my computer the next morning and i bought a shirt online that said 'kiss me nick! im sugar-free!' on it. yes i am a little bit obsessed, but so what?!

lately...

sooo what has happened in the past year? a lot. this summer though, i have had soo much fun. i met my favorite band (We The Kings) at a music festival, saw katy perry, gym class heroes, and the jo bros(personally my favorite part of the summer so far) in concert! i have a new favorite series of books- TWILIGHT. they are like my soul so that is pretty exciting. i read the entire series this summer in less than 2 weeks. i also have hung out with my cousins like a bunch this summer. i got braces which sucks bad. i've gone swimming and to the beach, too. i have gone surfing in Costa Rica, and went to Utah. i went to the midnight showing of a bunch of movies. hung out with my friends a bunch, and made peach cobbler at my friend's house. so that is my summer so far i guess.

i am a blogger again :)

i have decided to blog again partly because i am bored lately. i guess im going to blog whenever i get bored now and maybe it will keep me occupied or something.

my 4th of July

yesterday was really fun. Megan and Bryan and their kids came to our house, Brook and Jen and their friends came to our house, Tristen came, and so did Ryan and Paige. we had SO many people here!! we first played DDR for a while and it was fun playing it with everyone. after that we all went out to the pool and swam for a very long time. we all had a BBQ which Micah cooked and it was Delicious! then we did fireworks that were awesome!!! my cousins are crazy (pyros :) brought a hole trash bag full of them. Nonnie ,though, didn't want to get a ticket so we could only do a couple . we drove up to a hill and watched the Marco Forester fireworks after that. it was an awesome day!!

MOVIE MADNESS!!!!

Last night was sooooo crazy!!! first Micah, Lindsey, Woody, Skylar, Scout, and I all went to Dana Hills HS track last night at about 10:00 so that Lindsey and Micah could run their 30 minutes. so when we got their, we realized that the track was closed. but, since we were with Lindsey we had to climb over two 6 ft. gates(one of which my pants got stuck on). it was a really big pain..... but once we got their, they started running and Skylar and i decided to do the long jumps just for fun. at about 11: 15, we climbed back over the gates, got in the car, and drove home. when we got home, i took a shower, got in my pajamas, and TRIED to go to sleep. of course at 5 minutes later, (about 11:50) my phone starts ringing. i answered it since i was no longer asleep and it was Lindsey. "Do you want to go to the midnight showing of....." "uuuuu.... ya! are you going?" my reply was "No. Micah wants to go and i think i would rather die then go at the moment." "OK! just let me go ask my mom!!!" i hung up the phone and i ran downstairs to my moms room and asked her if i could go. and (to my surprise:) her reply was "Absolutely NOT!!!" "k thank you! love you! bye!" i ran out the door after i had gotten my ugg boots and a sweatshirt on and i met Micah at his car (and i went in my pajamas)!!! I was Soooooooo excited! i loved midnight showings of movies!!! "so uuuu...... what movie are we seeing?" This made him laugh..."Transformers!" in my mind i was a little disappointed because this movie did not look very good to me. when we got to the theatre, there were lots of people staring at me since i was in my pajamas (it was kinda funny). we sat down in our seats and watched the movie.... i couldn't believe that i was staying up for this!! i didn't even have a soda and i was awake the whole time! i was very proud of myself. Fortunately, the movie was so much better than i had expected!!! it may have actually come close to my favorite!! i had such a good time at the movie! after it got out i was so happy i came! it was almost 3:00 and i didn't feel tired at all until i got home! when we did get home, i went straight to my room and laid on my bed with my sweatshirt and Uggs in and everything and i didn't wake up until 12:15 in the afternoon!!!! i would recomend Transformers to everyone.
